Yes, I know that it's been nearly a week since I last put up new chapters. But, as you can see, I have not abandoned the project! I have just posted two new chapters and up dated 2, (i think 8...), and 13. what were the changes?
2: I put the key on the table, instead of in coat pocket.
8(?): She grabs the key
13: made it obvious (I hope) that they are now out of the Sandy-ashen desert.

And I am already working on chapter 16! I was right about one thing: this is coming to me easily now!

Oh, my goodness. Last night, I was just finishing up taking a shower (forgive me if that's TMI) and I had a sudden revelation for Alyssa. I couldn't figure out how I was to make it longer for the longest time, so I've been streatching out. But Last night, I realized that I don't need to streatch it out. I can keep it fast paced. I can go ahead and do the Jabberwalky scene! (Albeit, it is not the same as I imagined it to be; It will be better by far!) It will require chapters to accomplish this! It will be probably about the same length of the previous book that is already online! I am sooo excited about it!

So, as soon as I physically could, I got on my laptop and put down all of my ideas. Short sentence map of what is going to happen. The map is two whole pages long!!! Which means I have a lot of material to work with right now! I can not tell you how happy I am that I figured out how its all gonna go! I cannot wait to see what you think of my on-coming chapters! I can see that my chapters are going to be flying right out of my fingertips and right onto a page, almost withoout hesitations or pauses or interruptions!

I know I said that pictures will be coming soon. I'm sorry it is taking so long getting them out there. I haven't even found any as of yet. I will get to work on that right away. :^)

Appearantly, chapter 13 doesn't have strong enough ending scene. I will fix that. Soon. (I hope)

Also, I have been on a hatter-obsession streak. I found a fanpop page (Link on side bar) for Hatter. I am going through the whole movie and taking snapshots of hatter; as many as I can. Then I'm gonna get it onto my Laptop so I can do stuff with different clips from the movie. AND I'llbe drawing Hatter from one of the priorly mentioned snapshots of him. A Hatter streak indeed! LOL
I guess that's what happens when you are writing a book about an iconic movie character!

When I'm done drawing my Hatter pic/s, I'll be sure to post them!

Q: Should I make a seprate page for Hatter's pictures? Or should I put them in a post on this page? Or should I make a whole new blog for them altogether?

Ok. I'm working on Chapter 13  Just finished Chapter 13 (as you all can see...) and I got was a little bit stuck. It is an important scene and I was beginning to have troubles visualizing it. So what did I do? I got my brother to act it out with me. With out his knowing it. Haha, he's all like, What's the point of this again? I had to tell him the goal with out giving it away (Not easy to do!) But that is okay.

Also, been reading bits and pieces of it to my Dad. He totally loves it so far! Chapter 5 is where he picks up to night. He says that it is suspensful and really pulls you into the moment. He loves Chess, Salandra, and all of the characters, really. I'm totally excited! I can not wait to finish this book so that I can present it to the Queen of Grammar (aka, my Mom). haha, but that is okay.

I noticed that alot of you are stopping by my blog, but no one seems to really be commenting or following. Is my book that bad or uninteresting? Tell me! I want to know! I need to know! Why is it bad? Why aren't you interested in it? Please help me out here! I'm trying to make a best seller (in my opinion, at least). I want this book to be the best it can be. And I can't do this with out your help!

Ok, I am going through chapters 11 and 12, reviewing them, detail by detail, with my best friend. Apparently, too much detail on the Vorpol Sword. And not the right impression on coming out of the mind maze. We are still on ch 11. But those two details are fixed. I hope it makes a good job and better deal on the book. <Sigh...> its a long and slow process. But that is ok.

I am now up to 55 pages. But that is the un-edited version, with all of the line breaks in Notepad (which doesn't have spell check). I so want this to be a real novel. I am slowly getting there. Ugh. Wish it would go ffaster. But I have to get it just right. And that is not easy.

I know you are all probably wondering, "What's with the platypuses?" Well... Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I felt there had to be a creature in the Mind Maze. Platypuses kinda just popped up in my head. So I took the Idea and ran with it. Albeit, I did not run far with them. Haha. Ah, well. I was going to have them interact more directly with Alyssa, but I thought better of it. I am told, its a 50-50 thing, it could have worked either way. I decided I should just leave it. (Obviously).

Any questions on Alyssa? I'd be happy to answer them (without spoiling it for others). You will see that in due time. Haha.

My best friend had the coolest (and creepy/scary) dream last night. Totally about Alice in Wonderland. (I don't know about you, but I think that we are becoming just a little over-obsessed with it all, haha) Any ways, I won't keep you waiting on the dream. Here it is:

She went to her dreams crush and followed him to an old house by a swamp, somewhere. They knocked on the door and met an old lady from Peru. The woman was... strange. So she wanted to get away from the woman. She ended up in the basement. All of a sudden I was there with her. And there was a girl there that was into spiders, and the girl was teaching us how spiders make their egg sacs. My friend told the girl that she should smash it, otherwise baby spiders will be all over the place when they 'hatch.' The girl didn't want to because they are a form of life. But then the spider got bigger. The girl kept talking. The spider kept bigger. And bigger. 'Til it was the size of a cow or a horse or a car or something like that. Anyways, then it thought my friend and I were going to kill its babies. So it started chasing us. We locked ourselves in a closet. The spider was running fast, charging towards the door. It slammed into the door and broke it. We tried to hold the pieces together as the spider tried to reach us. It was nipping at our legs when the girl distracted the spider so that we could run. We ran fast and hard as the spider roared. We burst through the very first door we could find. Guess where it led to? WONDERLAND. Everything was so colorful and, well, wondrous. It had some elements that seemed more like the land of Oz, but who's keeping track? Anyways, we saw lots of people, including the Tweedles. But then something weird happened. The Tweedles and other creatures started coming towards us, mouths opened, trying to eat us. We kept backing up but they just kept coming. Then we saw Hatter and he told us that we were standing on the wrong color. We looked down and saw different colored patches of grass. Apparently, we need to stand on the specified color. Which changes periodically. As long as we did that, every one is nice to us. But it kept on changing faster and faster. We got tired and ran into a building. Inside, there were normal people, but they were from the 20's. They looked like 'gangsters.' Turns out, they were. They confronted us and asked what we were doing in a place we didn't belong. We were wearing totally tech clothes and gear and looked like something out of the movie tron (I never seen that movie, but, okay...). The 'gangsters' were from the past, so they were probably freaked out. And they were holding guns on us. We told them we just wanna leave, but they wouldn't let us. Like the Specials (A book reference that we both read) that we r, we tried to escape; Couldn't get out fast enough. Just when my friend was considering how much it would hurt to be shot, her Mom woke her up, saving us both from immanent disaster.

A crazy dream, huh? Well, at least Hatter was helpful (As he always is... heeheehee...).

Anyways, I am really excited about my book! I don't have anything else that Alyssa and Trea HAVE to go through, except the Jabberwalk aspect. The rest between here and then are embellishments. Why am I embellishing and torturing you, me, Alyssa, Trea, and the gang? Because I did a page check on word and between the introduction and Chapter 11, I only have 50 pages! Fifty stinking pages! That is NOT a novel. I want a novel in makings. I have an idea on how to make it longer, but I'm sure that you would not like a slow ending. |^P
I have some ideas, tho, on how the Jabberwalk scene will go. I will put in as much detail as I can so that you will 'be' there, and so that the fight will take up more chapters. ;^) haha. Sorry if it's too suspenseful when I get to that part. But, hey. I'm doing the best I can! And seriously, comments, ideas, and criticisms are greatly appreciated and welcomed. I do my best to respond to all, so please check frequently to see if I responded to you yet.

Again, any ideas, they are welcomed. However, I do have a really cool idea, partly due to my sister (THANK YOU POPPY!!!) that I am working with. I could just use it until the end of the book and the beginning of rescuing Trea, but I cant do that to Alyssa, Trea, me, or YOU, my readers. I'm sorry again for taking so long. Apparently, the once-a-day thing is not happening or working out for me. But I vow that this WILL be finished at some point as a novel!!! And by the way, I found out that Blogger.com only allows 20 pages. That means 20 chapters. No worries though, if I need more than what they provide me, I will add a link to the very last page of the one on this site, and you will be able to continue on through Alyssa's wonderful, fantastical adventures and her way to rescue the beloved Trea.
